HOW TO: clean out/organise your wardrobe.

FIRST, you start by putting all your clothes onto a bed and putting all unused hangers next to the clothes. Then put all your shoes on the floor near the bed. So now your wardrobe should be completely empty.

NEXT, if you have a wardrobe like mine with two shelves then you should sort out your shoes into two groups. One group of shoes that you can see yourself wearing a lot in the next few months and then the other group of shoes should be ones that you could see yourself wearing a few times. THEN, you should put the group of shoes that you see yourself wearing the most on the top shelf in order or height so that taller shoes will be behind the pump and smaller shoes. THEN, put the other shoes in the second shelf with the same order of height.

AFTER, pick a way of sorting out your clothes, I decided to sort my clothes out in categories of type of clothing e.g. dresses-skirt-play suits-jeans-tops but you could sort it out in order of colour, preference or seasons.

THEN, you would put the first category into your wardrobe, for the best approach you should put the style of the clothing in different sections. e.g. I put dressy dresses on one side of the wardrobe, then the dresses that could be dressy or casual in the middle section and finally the casual dresses on the other side of the wardrobe. After I was sure that I had put all the dresses into the wardrobe I put them all together and moved them to the edge of the wardrobe.

THEN, I carried on doing this technique with all the categories until I had no clothes left out that I wanted to keep. Also I put all the empty hangers in at the far end of the wardrobe for when I get new clothes.

FINALLY, if you have any clothes that you decided you don't want sort them out and give them to the charity store or use them as hand me downs for someone you may know.

Hope this helped, follow and comment x x x
