HOW TO: motivate yourself to exercise

1. make a playlist- I think this is important because I can never work out in silence so it is best to set up a play list of songs that may get you motivated. Songs that work best for me are songs with a catchy tune or a beat that is easy to pick up, and songs that encourage you to look 'sexy'.
some good songs would be- Hot in here by Nelly, T.H.E by Will.I.am, starships by Nicki Minaj, Sexy and i know it by LMFAO, Turn me on by David Guetta, Rack City by Tyga, Next to me by Emeli Sande and Hot right now by DJ Fresh and Rita Ora.

2. Choose your destination- Maybe you're not comfortable with working out at a gym with tons of people, if this applies to you then I suggest working out somewhere quieter like your bedroom. If you are quite shy in front of people then you wont be properly motivated at a gym and you will not exercise to the best of your ability.

3. suitable clothing- don't where a jumper and thick tracksuit bottoms if you're planning to sweat a lot. I suggest wearing shorts and a loose fitting top and ankle socks with small trainers. If you plan to work out in your room then just put on some short pjs.

4. Be refreshed- Whenever i work out i always make sure i have a glass or bottle of water before hand and then i make sure i have a bottle of water ready for whenever i start to feel dehydrated. If you think you need to reward yourself after your workout DON'T go and get a chocolate bar or a pack of crisps because that will just throw your entire workout in the bin so i suggest eating some fruit after the workout.

5. The workout- Make sure you know what you you want to test every work out session. So if you plan on working on your leg muscles, arm muscles, toning your stomach e.t.c. Also plan what type of workouts you plan to do so for example I like to tone my stomach a lot so i make sure that I do 50 standard sit ups and 50 elevated sit ups. Then i aim to do some bicycle treads (don't know what they are called sorry)

6. Pace yourself.- Be sure not to do too much at one time or try not to do too many of one thing. When you feel like you cant do any more then stop, dont push yourself to hard. Also take steady breaks e.g. when I do my sit ups I like to do 10 sit ups and then take a 10 second break.

hope this helps, now i'm off to do my own work out bye x x x
